Nerf has legions of dedicated fans that love the product, but an opportunity existed to leverage loyalty strategies to drive incremental purchase. Brandmovers worked with Hasbro to launch a first-in-the-category digital loyalty program, developing the strategy, ROI, points structure and website experience to bring the program to life.
How it Works
After purchasing a qualifying Nerf product, program members visit nerfperks.com and upload their receipt. The receipt image is routed through the Brandmovers receipt processing platform, and points are awarded based on the purchases. When enough points have been earned, participants can redeem their points for a wide range of Nerf and Hasbro items within the custom rewards catalog.
With tens of thousands of members signed up in just the first 6 months of the program, and with engagement and redemption metrics far above industry benchmarks, the program is set to continue its rapid growth through the end of 2016.
