Brandmovers worked with 360i, the digital agency for Oreo, to create and execute a promotion designed to generate excitement around the product and drive trial, while aligning with the larger “Mel’s Mini Mart” campaign.
How it Works
Each day during the promotion run, the first 500 people visiting the site were given the opportunity to send a friend a single Oreo mini, with a custom note. The user would provide their info, the info of a friend (including address) and we would mail them their Mini Mini delivery each night.
Aside from getting the product in the hands of over 50,000 consumers, the promotion generated significant PR buzz and consumer excitement – at the height of the promotion, we were giving away each day’s allotment of 500 cookies in under 10 seconds!
