Friskies Cats Rule Sweepstakes
To celebrate Cat World Domination Day, Friskies and Brandmovers teamed up to create an elevated consumer sweepstakes experience that would drive brand awareness and increase customer engagement. Aiming to shine a fun and positive light on the brand, Brandmovers built a sweepstakes promotion to reward loyal Friskies customers and let them showcase their favorite cat photos and stories.
How It Works
When customers visited the microsite, they were prompted to register for the sweepstakes by entering the required fields, putting them in the running to win $2,500, a Smart Litter Box, and a Friskies Prize Pack. Participants could earn up to two extra entries by sharing their favorite "cat rule" and/or uploading a photo of their cat dominating their world. Once they completed the required actions for registration, they received a confirmation email thanking them for participating and showing the timeline for prize distribution.
To keep participants engaged with the sweepstakes after registering, they were prompted to follow and share their photos on social media using #FriskiesCatsRule to catch the attention of Purina. As an extra earning opportunity, customers who bought Friskies treats or cat food through Ibotta were able to earn cash back.
