Take A Shot At Finding The Lie
To boost interactions between their Brand Ambassadors and guests during events and drive more customer acquisition, Jägermeister partnered with Brandmovers to create a fun mobile game called “Two Truths and a Shot”. Brandmoves built an iPad experience that allowed Brand Ambassadors to demo the game and register participants. Users had 56 seconds to get through as many question rounds as possible; each round consisted of three statements about the Jägermeister brand (two truths and one lie) and users guessed which statement was false.
How It Works
Once a player registered and confirmed they were over 21, they received a link to their mobile phone to start the game. After guessing which statement was false, the gamer timer paused and revealed if the user guessed right. The game also showed the user additional interesting historical facts about the true statement before moving on. Users would complete as many rounds as possible before the countdown ended, and then see their score as the total percent correct of the questions they completed. After completing the game, players could make their own "Two Truths and A Lie" image to share and take with them.
Results
The trivia game succeeded in increasing CRM acquisition in-person events via the trivia game registration form which captured player names, email addresses, phone numbers, and opt-in for email and SMS marketing. The game also succeeded in boosting engagement between the Jägermeister brand and visitors by increasing the time users spent interacting with Jägermeister Brand Ambassadors.
